The mission of the Communication and Computer Engineering program is to qualify students for successful and outstanding careers in Communication and Computer fields.

This is based upon: applying knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering concepts to analysis and design of systems, component or process needs within realistic constrains. Also, identify, formulate and solve fundamental engineering problems and to use the advanced techniques, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice. They can work efficiently within teams with high communication skills and display professional and ethical responsibilities.

They can able to engage in self- and life-long learning necessary to meet the technical and social challenges of the future.

Program Objectives

In pursuit of this mission, the educational objectives of the Communication and Computer Engineering program can be summarized as follows:

  • To prepare undergraduate students who will be able to create new ways to meet society's needs through the applications of fundamentals of engineering sciences to practical problems using design, analyses and syntheses of electrical components, circuits, and systems. This enables to become successful engineering problems solvers, lifelong learners, innovators, and professionals in the field of Communication and Computer.

  • To prepare engineers who will become leaders in the Communication and Computer profession, and be able to shape the social, intellectual, business and technical activities.

  • To prepare engineers who will be able to work on Communication and Computer including the design and realization.

  • To ensure that students are exposed to elements of social sciences, humanities and environmental studies so that they understand the necessities for professionalism, ethical responsibilities and the needs to function in multidisciplinary teams.

  • To prepare students to express themselves effectively in both oral and written communication.
