installations. Economics and politics of renewable energy systems. The structure, design and efficiency of electrical transmission grids will be
introduced. Power electronic devices and their use in energy storage and
conversion will be presented. Emphasis will be on the development of an
integrated approach for the storage and transmission of energy and cost versus
efficiency trade-off analysis of such systems.
